A large drug seizure was made at one of El Paso's ports of entry.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers found 111 pounds of methamphetamine in a vehicle's fuel tank Sunday, according to a CBP news release.

Two individuals that arrived from Mexico in an SUV at the Ysleta Port of Entry were identified as suspects.

The individuals were referred for a secondary inspection of the vehicle, which included a screening by a canine team and and x-ray exam.

A total of 99 bundles containing methamphetamine were found in the tank.

The female driver and a man, both U.S. citizens, were arrested.

The narcotics and vehicle were seized by CBP.

The meth's estimated street value is more than $330,000.
