EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A 25-year-old man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries following a shooting in south-central El Paso, according to El Paso fire dispatch.

The shooting happened at Myrtle Avenue at Noble Street.

Police blocked off the area as they investigated.

The call for the shooting was received at 7:47 p.m., dispatch said.
