Why is El Paso such a great place to spend your Easter weekend?
El Paso, Texas — A new survey says El Paso is one of the best places in America to spend your Easter weekend.
The personal finance website, WalletHub, has just released this year's list of the "Best Places to Celebrate Easter" among the 100 largest cities in the U.S. and El Paso finished in the top 10 as the 8th best Easter city.
WalletHub says it looked at 13 metrics to come up with its rankings for each city, including the number of candy shops and churches per capita, the proportion of Christians in each city, along with the most flower and gift shops, and the best Easter weather.
Another nearby city, Albuquerque, also ranked high on the list, as the 15th best big city to celebrate Easter, while Pittsburgh, PA topped the list.
Las Cruces wasn't included in this survey because it's not one of the nation's 100 biggest cities.
