Saturday Night Live star and comedian Pete Davidson is the latest celebrity who's scheduled to fly to the edge of space.

He's scheduled to launch next Wednesday, March 23, from billionaire Jeff Bezo's spaceport on the Corn Ranch in the West Texas desert, which is located about 100 miles from El Paso.

Some people may know Davidson better as Kim Kardashian's current boyfriend.

He'll become the latest celebrity besides the Amazon founder himself to take off from the Blue Origin launch pad near Van Horn.

The others include the original Captain Kirk

Davidson will join 5 paying customers on a journey to the edge of space aboard Blue Origin's 60 foot tall New Shepard rocket.

The crew capsule will soar to about 60 miles above the earth's surface where the passengers will get to experience about 3 minutes of weightlessness before their capsule makes a parachute landing back down near Van Horn.

The entire trip only takes about 11 minutes.

So who knows? You might spot a Kardashian or an SNL star around town this weekend, or Davidson's journey to the edge of space might inspire an SNL skit.
