EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — The El Paso County Parks and Recreation Department has transformed some of the tennis courts at Ascarate Park into El Paso's first permanent outdoor pickleball courts.
One of the two tennis courts was repurposed to offer a total of four dedicated pickleball courts to accommodate the growing number of pickleball players, according to the county.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the park located at 6900 Delta Dr.
