Crash in far east El Paso sends 4 to hospital; Zaragoza at Sunfire closed
EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — A crash in far east El Paso left three people with serious injuries and one person with minor injuries Tuesday night, according to fire dispatch.
The reported rollover crash happened at the intersection of North Zaragoza Road and Sun Fire Boulevard.
A total of three vehicles were involved and at least one vehicle rolled over, dispatch said.
One person was ejected from one of the vehicles, dispatch said.
One of the vehicles involved reportedly fled, dispatch added.
Our crew at the scene saw a black car and a grey-colored SUV both with damage.
The four individuals were taken to the hospital.
Zaragoza north and south at Sunfire Boulevard are closed.
The call for the crash came in at 9:20 p.m.
We are working to confirm more information about the crash and if any of the drivers fled.
TxDOT said south and northbound lanes reopened on Zaragoza before midnight.
