Las Cruces High School football coach placed on administrative leave

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — The Las Cruces High School football coach was placed on administrative leave.

Kelly Jameson a spokesperson for Las Cruces Public Schools said coach Mark Lopez was on leave as of Wednesday.

Jameson said she couldn't disclose why Lopez was placed on administrative leave.

Jameson said LCPS could not confirm anything since it's a personnel issue.

No other information was provided.
