Las Cruces police alert community about former daycare worker recorded dragging toddler
LAS CRUCES, NM (CBS4/KFOX14) — Police are asking others, who may have been victimized by a woman who was recorded using "excessive force" on a child at a Las Cruces daycare, to come forward.
The Las Cruces Police Department's news release was titled, "Suspect Child Abuse? Call Police."
The release is regarding suspected child abuser, Angie Flores.
Flores was arrested nearly four months after the video surfaced on social media in February.

The footage showed Flores dragging a 3-year-old boy by the shirt at the Discovery Child Development Center at 973 S. Walnut Street.
The boy could be be heard crying as he is dragged away.
On Tuesday, Las Cruces police stated the department was continuing to investigate allegations of child abuse by a former employee at a Las Cruces daycare.
They asked for anyone with similar claims to call detectives.
The former employee at the Discovery Child Development Center was arrested June 5 and charged with two felony counts of child abuse after investigators learned she used excessive force against a 3-year-old boy.

Flores was released from custody, but no longer works at Discovery Child Development Center, according to police.
Anyone with similar allegations of child abuse by Flores, or any other daycare worker suspected of using excessive force against a child, is asked to call police at 575-526-0795.
