Kids can 'Paint the Ice' with El Paso Rhinos at weekend event

El Paso Rhinos fans can "paint the ice" this weekend.

On Sunday, fans can go down to the ice with a paint brush and some paint and join the players in painting the ice.

The event is free with game admission.

Children 12 and under can get into Friday, Saturday and Sunday's games for free.

Players will be wearing bright neon-colored jerseys to commemorate the weekend.

Those jerseys will be be auctioned off on January 20 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. online.

The puck drops at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and Sunday at 4:30 pm.

Tickets start at $5 and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or the Coliseum Box Office.
