Jennifer Cuevas

My name is Jennifer Cuevas and I am so excited to join the KFOX14 and CBS4 morning team!

I was born in New York City but have lived in Stamford, CT for many years therefore I call both cities my home. While it is my first time living in the South, I am excited to be in El Paso and learn about a city that has so much to offer. My parents are both Mexican which is why I feel a close connection to the Borderland and the wonderful people in it. I look forward to using my Spanish bilingual skills to create connections and friendships in the community.

I graduated from Quinnipiac University in December 2020 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and a minor in anthropology. Journalism is important to me because it provides a platform to people who may not have one and because I believe change can be made through story-telling.

Prior to graduating from Quinnipiac, I interned at FOX61 in Hartford, CT and participated in student media as a Producer for Q30 News. Both experiences backed up my decision to become a news reporter because the world of a journalist is so unique and I knew I would be a great fit.

In my free time, I enjoy going to the movie theaters, outdoor activities such as hiking and long boarding. I also love to try new and trendy restaurants, preferably Mexican cuisine!
