James King

James King joined KFOX14 as Sports Director in May of 2022.

He's originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia (a small suburb of Washington D.C.).

King is excited for some hotter summers and milder winters in the Sun City.

After graduating from Ohio State University in 2018, King spent two years in northeast Missouri and southeast Iowa at KTVO-TV. There he covered sports from 30+ high schools and a few colleges in the area.

In 2020, King moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to report on everything from local news, to sports and sometimes weather for ABC affiliate KTUL-TV.

When King is not in front of a camera, you’ll most likely find him bouncing from golf course to golf course in the area working on his below average game.
