The Derby Del Camino rivalry game kicked off tonight with El Paso Locomotive FC travelling to Albuquerque to take on New Mexico United.

The Locomotive were looking to notch another win at Isotopes Park, winning last in September of 2022.

The game remained even throughout most of the match with the game 0-0 heading into the half.

Then in the 71st minute Defender Eder Borelli kicked a cross ball into the box and Midfielder Denys Kostyshyn headed the ball into the back of the net.

The goal marked the 3rd goal for Denys Kostyshyn this season.

The Locomotive win the match 1-0, and have now won 7 consecutive matches and remain unbeaten in their last 9 games.

The next match for El Paso Locomotive is against San Antonio FC on June 10 in San Antonio.
